Pass Plus Poole
Pass plus is a scheme backed by the Government’s Driving Standards Agency and Insurers to encourage newly qualified drivers to become better drivers.
Pass Plus gives extra experience and positive driving skills that would otherwise take a long time to acquire.
Pass Plus Poole is a course made up of six hours (minimum) in total, specially designed to follow on from a successful practical driving test. The course includes driving:
- in town and out of town
- in all weathers and at night
- on dual carriageways and on motorways

The Borough of Poole, in partnership with the Driving Standards Agency, are offering the first 160 applicants each year £75.00 towards the cost of Pass Plus Poole. The initial outlay cost of Pass Plus will be dicussed with your instructor.
Who can take part in Pass Plus Poole?
You can take part in Pass Plus Poole - within your first year of passing your driving test - if you live and/or work in Poole and you are aged between 17 and 24
