Getting to and from Poole by train
South West Trains operate a modern fleet of air conditioned trains.
London Waterloo is two hours away on the express service from Poole. This runs hourly throughout the day and calls at:
- Bournemouth
- Brockenhurst
- Southampton
- Southampton Airport and
- Winchester
Poole is well served by its centrally placed railway station adjacent to the High Street and Shopping Centre. See live departure information

The railway line also continues West and is an excellent method of avoiding the traffic queues when travelling to:

- Wool

BusLink ticket
If you're arriving in Poole by train, for an extra £1 on the price of your rail ticket you can continue to your destination on most Wilts & Dorset bus services. For an extra £2 your return journey to the station on the same day is also covered. Ask for a BusLink ticket at your local railway station.
