Footway and carriageway safety
As Highway Authority the Borough of Poole has a duty to keep the highways safe. The word highway covers all features such as carriageway, footway or verge as well as their features. This duty is primarily met by routinely undertaking regular inspections of the Borough's highways and carrying out any work required.
However, problems can occur on highways at any time and we welcome information from the public especially if it relates to your personal safety or the safety of others.
