Bridge Construction
Before construction of the Twin Sails Bridge and approach roads can begin, the Council is required to undertake the tendering of work. This process is again subject to statutory conditions and will need to be tendered through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
Once completed a contract to start construction will be awarded. Construction of Poole's iconic Twin Sails Bridge is expected to take up to two years. The associated regeneration project sites will be phased before, during and after bridge construction.
