Core Strategy Site Allocation Representations
Purpose
What is a Site Allocation representation?
When the Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State in May 2008 it was subject to a six week consultation period. Among the comments received on the Core Strategy were Site Allocation representations.
A Site Allocation representation related to the Core Strategy is a representation to change the document by adding a policy which allocates a site for a particular development.
The Borough of Poole is required under Regulation 32 of the Town and Country Planning Act (2004) Regulations, to make allocations available for public inspection and to invite comments on them. Any comments made concerning the site allocation representations will be considered by the Inspector who will determine the soundness of the Core Strategy.
Consultation
A six week consultation period will now run for this stage of the Core Strategy adoption process from Friday 1st August and Thursday 11th September. Any comments received as part of this consultation on the site allocation representations will be considered by the Inspector as part of the Examination in Public, scheduled to be held in the first two weeks of November 2008.
What Site Allocation Representations have been made?
The following site allocations representations have been made as a result of the Core Strategy Submission Document consultation, and are now available for public inspection and comments:
- Cobbs Quay Marina, Woodlands Avenue, Hamworthy, Poole, BH15 4EJ;
- Land adjacent to Rydal Mount, Canford Magna, Poole, BH21 3AW.
Comments can be made online using the above links to each document. Alternatively comments can be made by using the downloadable 'Site Allocation Representation' Form, which can be seen to the right of this page. Please be aware the deadline for all comments is Thursday 11th September, no comments will be received following this date.
