Homelessness Strategy
Purpose
The draft Borough of Poole Homelessness Strategy 2008-2011 has been developed through a partnership approach to review of Housing Register and Homelessness services. Following consultation with all agencies, working with homeless and housing register households in Poole, and other housing service users, and told us what their key priorities should be around homelessness in Poole to 2011.
The draft strategy contains information on the current levels of homelessness within the borough. It also highlights the current initiatives that are being undertaken by the Local Authority (in partnership with other organisations) and our future priorities and plans to help tackle homelessness in the borough in the future.
You now have the chance to comment further on the findings of the review and draft homelessness strategy until 15th August 2008. Following this all comments will be considered and following with the publication of the final strategy.
