Housing Strategy Statement 2005-2008
Purpose
This Housing Strategy statement seeks to address the housing aspects of Poole's vision to be, a Beautiful place to live, learn, work and play that we may take pride in passing on to future generations.
The Housing Strategy seeks to ensure that all households in Poole have the opportunity to live in decent, warm, affordable homes within safe communities. Its intention is to remove the obstacles of inappropriate housing, poor quality housing, lack of choice and ability to make a safe home, poor public services and a lack of engagement which engender social exclusion and prevent individuals realising their potential.
