Local Development Framework - Core Strategy Preferred Options

Purpose

The formal consultation stage in the production of Poole's Core Strategy is now over. The Preferred Options consultation considered a range of future development scenarios for Poole as well as their social, environmental and economic implications (the sustainability appraisal). The Council will now consider responses to this consultation and prepare a Core Strategy to submit to the Secretary of State - estimated to be January 2008.

Consultation on the Preferred Options Document and it Sustainability Appraisal ran from 11th April 2007 to 23rd May 2007.
