People Strategy
Purpose
To inform, support and guide the effective delivery of Personnel & Training Services throughout the Council for the next five years, assisting in the consistent improvement of service provision to support the Council's overall goals.
Consultation
Consultation and communication was extensive and included: Trade unions including teaching unions, Full JICC, Elected members all groups Dorset Race Equality Council, Management team, Service Unit Heads, People Strategy Group, Peer HR Manager, South West Provincial Employers Managing Diversity and People Strategy Groups, A challenge group as part of the best value review, A staff challenge group - diagonal slice
