Crime And Drugs Strategy 2005-2008
Purpose
Poole Safe Together Partnership have a statutory duty to carry out an audit of crime and substance misuse every three years, to consult with the public and to publish a strategy to promote community safety. This strategy aims to reduce crime and substance misuse so that every member of the community can enjoy the sense of safety, security and well-being that they are entitled to. The Crime and Drugs Audit 2004 was the subject of extensive consultation with communites in Poole. Seven prioties areas were identified and task groups have been formed to tackle these issues. All task groups will also work to address prolific and priority offenders and public reassurance.
