Behaviour Support Plan 2004-2005

Purpose

The Behaviour Support Plan has been updated by the Local Education Authority from the previous version dated January 2001 – March 2004. The current document is a one year plan which will be replaced by a single education plan in April 2005.

The Behaviour Support Plan sets out the arrangements for the education of children and young people with Behaviour, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) in the Borough of Poole.

Local Education Authorities have a duty to produce Behaviour Support Plans under Section 527A of the Education Act 1996.

Consultation

Multi-agency contributions and the Learning Overview Group. The Behaviour Support Plan has been submitted to the Department for Education and Skills and circulated to all contributors, including some of the Borough’s Schools.

Distribution

The Behaviour Support Plan will be accessible through the Borough of Poole intranet boroughofpoole.com and intranet to All Poole Schools, Borough of Poole Service Units, Learning Overview Group Members, CAMHS, Poole Primary Care Trust, Youth Offending Team, Connexions, Dorset Police, Bournemouth & Poole College of FE, Learning & Skills Council, Probation Service and Professional Teacher Associations
