What the Privacy Policy means and what is covered

We are committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information that you provide to us when visiting or using boroughofpoole.com, and we will comply with all Data Protection Act requirements.     You may review and update your personal identifiable registration information on all facilities that require you to register at anytime. If you wish to no longer receive information you can opt out by simply unsubscribing or by contacting us. Any queries on your registered information should be directed to the Webmaster.
  3. Additional Subscription Facilities
    Should additional subscription facilities be added to boroughofpoole.com you will be given the opportunity to opt-in to them. If you are an existing subscriber you will be able to update your existing details to opt-in to these facilities. You will only receive information on items that you have agreed to.

This information will still be viewable and copies available to the Public when visits are made to the office in person to view the original files.

    We respectfully remind those wishing to make representation to the Council that any objection or support must be rational, impersonal and directed principally to the planning issues raised by the proposal. Comments of a personal, slanderous, defamatory, or otherwise offensive or abusive nature are not constructive or helpful to the process of determining a planning application.

    Planning Agents and Companies are not subject to the data protection act and therefore all the letters submitted will be published in their entirety with the exception of their signature.

    Information received prior to 01/01/2006 has been published on boroughofpoole.com in its entirety. Requests to remove personal data will be considered if anyone has any concerns about the personal data that is displayed on the internet. Please email us giving the full application number of the file and details of the document containing the information.

  7. Job Application forms
    If you email the job application form back to us, we will collect personally identifiable information from you. This may include your name, age, address, e-mail address, your employment history, education history and other relevant information.

    If you submit photographs for the 'Your Pics' section, you agree to the terms and conditions set out in the section itself.  While you retain the copyright, you grant us a licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we wish.  We will endeavor to credit photographs used in the section with your name each time we use them.
