Summer 2008

Summer's here and a good time to enjoy some of the best beaches in Britain. Sandbanks reached a milestone achievement this year when it received another Blue Flag marking 21 years of celebrating the coveted award.

This edition devotes four pages to one of the Council's main objectives - Protecting Poole's Environment. We follow what happens to a plastic bottle on its journey to become a fleece and include some reminders about which items can go in your blue bins. There's also advice about grants for energy saving and insulation.
