Master Potter Shares Passion for Pottery

Poole Pottery's link will open in new window master potter will be demonstrating his skills and sharing his passion for pottery during a talk at Poole Museum on Saturday 6 December.

Alan White link will open in new window, Master Potter at Poole Pottery will share the knowledge and experience he gained during his 40-year career at Poole Pottery and will demonstrate his skills on a potter's wheel.

The event is part of a series of free talks organised by Poole Museum Society and Poole Museum.

Alan is renowned for his innovative designs and has created exquisite pieces for a variety of organisations and collectors across the world.

Cllr Peter Adams, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, Borough of Poole, said: "We are delighted to have Alan share his skills at Poole Museum. The work produced at Poole Pottery is outstanding and by holding this event we hope to share this work with many more visitors at the museum."

Visitors will also get the opportunity to view Poole Museum's extensive and unique collection of Poole Pottery through the decades.

The free talk will begin at 2pm and visitors are asked to reserve a place in advance.
