Free Parking For Christmas Shoppers

Borough of Poole is offering free parking in the run-up to the festive season giving shoppers another great reason to do their Christmas shopping in Poole.

Free parking will be available in all council run, town centre multi-storey and surface car parks every Thursday evening from November 22 for late night shopping, from 6pm to 9.30pm. There is also a one-off Friday session on December 7 when parking will be free from 6pm to 9.30pm. Shoppers can also take advantage of free parking every Sunday until December 23 between 10.30am and 4.30pm.

Councillor Mike White, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Transportation Services, said: “We are delighted to be offering free parking once again for shoppers in Poole during this hectic time of year. We hope the free parking will encourage people to make the most of the great shops Poole has to offer.”

And don’t forget Borough of Poole is repeating its popular Park and Ride service in December on each of the four Saturdays before Christmas – December 1, 8, 15 and 22. The service will run between the Creekmoor Park and Ride site, which is off the A35 Upton Road, and the Dolphin Shopping Centre link will open in new window every 15 minutes between 8am and 6pm. The fare is just £1 return for adults and up to two accompanied children can travel free of charge. Holders of concessionary bus passes may also use the service for free.
