Local elections for Poole will be held on May 3 2007 and residents will be able to access results of the voting as they are announced by going to boroughofpoole.com.
The Council's own website will be hosting a live Election 2007 page providing up-to-date results of voting across the Borough.
The election offers people the chance to have their say on who runs Borough of Poole. The Council has 42 seats which represent the Borough's 16 wards. Local elections were last held four years ago, in May 2003.
A total of 115 candidates will be standing for election across the 16 wards. Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on election day for people to cast their votes.
Counting of votes will be staged at Lighthouse
, Poole's Centre for the Arts, once polling stations close at 10pm.
