10 Apr 07New Fitness Suite For Dolphin Swimming Pool
The Dolphin Swimming Pool will be showing off its new Health and Fitness suite when it opens its doors to the public on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April.

(SLM Ltd), which operates and manages the Dolphin Swimming Pool in partnership with the Borough of Poole, is staging an open weekend so Poole residents can see the fitness suite and other new facilities.
The 45-station health and fitness suite is part of a £750,000 refurbishment programme to modernise Dolphin Swimming Pool.
Other new facilities include a members’ only changing rooms and exclusive sauna, plus a group exercise studio.
The open weekend will allow people to tour the new fitness suite, the high quality changing facilities and relax in the reception area.
Free family entertainment and other activities such as family splash sessions, children’s magic shows, face painting will also be on offer throughout the weekend.
The reception area will soon feature a new coffee shop and contemporary furnishings, completing the Dolphin Swimming Pool’s fresh new look throughout.
Clive Smith, Head of Leisure Services, Borough of Poole said: “There has been a demand for improvements to the Dolphin Swimming Pool facilities for some time and we are thrilled that the Health and Fitness Suite refurbishment is now complete. This will be followed shortly by updating the reception area to give the whole centre a real lift. The Dolphin Swimming Pool is in such a convenient location for local people and visitors and is a great asset to the town.”
Val Woods, Contract Sales Manager, Sports and Leisure Management, said: “The new gym looks amazing. Already we have been really busy as word of mouth is spreading about our fantastic gym. We would like to encourage anyone interested in joining to come along to our opening weekend and see the membership offers available.”
