In a unique first, residents and visitors can hear Poole's priorities direct from the Leader of the Council as they are discussed.

Designed to improve access and accountability, visitors to boroughofpoole.com can listen to the key note speech by the Leader of the Council Dr Brian Leverett.

In his speech Cllr Leverett will outline the new direction and long term priorities for the Council over the next four years.

Cllr Brian Leverett, said; "This is an important moment in Poole's history that comes only once in a generation and we have to make sure that our priorities are the correct ones, that will make a real difference and are shared by the local community. The State of the Area debate in July offered a unique opportunity for us to discuss the most important aspects of the Town's future directly with the widest range of local organisations. We are taking a new direction that will be a challenge as well as provide many opportunities. Over the next four years partnership will be essential to address major issues and provide the long term stability that is essential for the future of Poole and its residents."
