Baiter Bridge Replacement

Due to essential works to the old Baiter Railway Bridge in Poole Park, the car park next to the Skate Park will be closed from 19 January 2004 for three weeks.

The main Rail Bridge over the outfall to the salt-water lake in Poole Park is to be completely replaced as part of a national bridge replacement programme by Railtrack.  This will mean that the main rail line to London will be closed over the weekend of the 31 January - 1 February 2004.

Contractors, Edmund Nuttall Limited, will mann the site at all times and the Borough of Poole have carried out full Health and Safety evaluations.

The car park off Catalina Drive will open for members of the public to use while the Baiter car park is closed.
