26 Apr 04Meet Your Cabinet Ministers
Got a burning question to ask about the Borough of Poole? Well now is your chance when the Cabinet will be on hand to grill at this weekend's Mayor's Charity Fair.
Council Leader Brian Leverett and Cllr Ann Stribley, the deputy leader, will be joined by some of the Borough of Poole's Cabinet portfolio holders responsible for housing, local economy, community support (social services) learning and education, environment and resources.
The Cabinet "Ministers" will be available for the public to speak to from 10am to 4pm on Sunday May 2 in Poole Park.
Cllr Brian Leverett said: "Many people often have questions they have always wanted to ask about the council and its services but never had the opportunity. Well here is your chance to find out what you have always wanted to know. By many of the Cabinet members being in one place at one time we hope as many residents as possible will come along and discover how their council operates, what decisions are being made on their behalf and tell us what they think."
The Cabinet team will be happy to answer queries on anything from the budget to Poole's regeneration and from the beaches to affordable housing. The Ministers are also keen to hear your views on how the council is performing.
