Do you know one of Poole's unsung heroes...?

 .... If so, then Poole Safe Together Partnership want to hear from you!

A Celebration of Community Safety - The John Jay Shield

We are looking for an individual or a group that has been working actively in the community, dealing with issues that have an impact on community safety or crime prevention. This covers a whole range of activities and topics, but to qualify the project should encompass:

• Making the community a safer place to live, work or visit
• Improving the lives of those who are at risk of offending or reoffending
• Helping and supporting those who have been victims of crime
• Assisting in the prevention and/or detection of crime

Criteria:

• The work must relate to activity in 2005/06
• The work must relate to Poole and be of benefit to Poole residents, workers or visitors
• Work from statutory agencies cannot be nominated
