Lindsay is a remarkable young woman whose bravery and cheerful outlook on life through the toughest of times is truly awe inspiring.

At 13 Lindsay joined the Air Training Corp (ATC) progressing through the ranks to Cadet Warrant Officer and at 17 she achieved the Gold Award in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

At 18 Lindsay was diagnosed with cancer of the neck of the Femur and at 19 had to have a metal replacement in the upper part of the limb.
