New Horizons for Poole

£100 million invested in Poole this year is already benefiting local people, that’s the message being delivered to Poole residents this week in Poole News.

The autumn edition of the Council’s newspaper leads on the confidence being shown in Poole, by international companies and organisations. Evidence of this is clearly visible with examples like the new RNLI training college, the ASDA superstore and Dolphin Shopping Centre refurbishment. Affordable homes under construction now, are a direct result of financial contributions made by developers.

Cllr Brian Leverett, Leader of the Council said: "Poole has much to be proud of and the town is moving confidently, embracing the great opportunities the future holds."

Readers can also read about the success of the new ‘blue bin’ recycling scheme, find out about Christmas events and competitions and catch up with all the progress about the new bridge and regeneration projects.

"Get those entries in now!" is the message to photographers wishing to submit their favourite image which best depicts the "Poole, it’s Happening Now" logo.

Competition closes at the end of the year.
