Poole Scoops National Housing Excellence Award

Poole Housing Partnership link will open in new windowhas received a national award for housing excellence.

 

The award was made by Government watchdog, the Audit Commission, and presented by Minister for Housing and Planning, Yvette Cooper MP at the 5th Annual Housing Awards, held at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Annual Conference in Harrogate.

 

Poole Housing Partnership Board Director, Cllr Chris Bulteel and Chief Executive, Joe Logan link will open in new windowcollected the award which followed the Minister's Keynote address to a packed Conference.

 

Chief Executive of Poole Housing Partnership, Joe Logan, said, “We are delighted to receive this national recognition from the Audit Commission and the Government.  This is about delivering the highest quality, value for money services that focus on meeting the diverse needs and aspirations of our residents.

 

“I accept this award on behalf of all of our staff and Board who have worked so hard to achieve year-on-year improvement in service delivery, to the point where the Audit Commission confirm that the services are now excellent.  Resident's will benefit from this as we carry out a major investment programme in the homes we manage throughout the town.  This is an excellent achievement for Poole.”

 

Cllr Chris Bulteel, said, "I was extremely pleased and honoured to get this award.  Only the best will do for the residents of Poole and this confirms that we are delivering the best services in the country."
