Councillor Neil Sorton, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources, said: "The development of the website has gone from strength to strength since its restructuring earlier this year and it is important that we promote the good work that is happening. As part of this it is essential that we keep residents informed of the latest developments. We hope that more and more residents feel comfortable with accessing boroughofpoole.com for their council enquires."

Keep up to date with our free news service e-mailed straight to your inbox!Christine Banfield, New Media Officer, Borough of Poole, said: "Our website is becoming more and more familiar to residents since the introduction of the borough’s Smart Cars, which have proved a great way to promote it while being more economical with council travel too! Surveys with Poole Opinion Panel members have shown that 38% are beginning to use the website to find out the latest council news but the research also shows that residents are not clear about what they can find and do through the website. The bus campaign is a brightly coloured fun promotion aimed at showing residents just how much our site can do."
