Poole Early Years Team Say it with Sunflowers

It was sunshine and flowers all round for hundreds of children and their families who attended the annual Upton Country Park Wildlife Fun Day on Wednesday 4^th August.

While the children were busy creating paper sunflowers with recycled materials obtained from the Dorset Scrap Store,  Poole Children's Information Service spoke to parents and carers about their childcare needs and possible career opportunities in childcare and early education.

Little Abbi Coles, age two, was the winner of Poole Toy Libraries 'Grow Your Own Giant Sunflower' competition and won the prize of a child size gardening kit.
