A Festival Of Arts For All The Family This Weekend

A free family arts festival full of exciting arts activities and performances will be taking place on Sunday 24 September 2006 from 10.30am until 5pm at Upton Country Park.

Organised by the Borough of Poole’s Arts Development team, the festival is funded by the Arts Lottery and offers something for all the family to enjoy in the Park’s beautiful surroundings.

Activities include learning circus skills, making musical instruments, ceramics workshops, make and take environmental artwork sessions and live music by local artists, plus much more.

Nickola Moore, Arts Development Manager at the Borough of Poole said: “This arts festival is an opportunity for the whole family to get involved and have fun whilst developing their arts skills and interests at the same time.  So why not bring along a picnic and a blanket and come and join in the fun.”
