Music and live entertainment on Poole Quay...

Music and live entertainment is going ahead for tonight’s weekly Thursday Summer Breeze on the Quay event but without a firework finale.

John McBride, Chief Executive, Borough of Poole, said: "It was felt inappropriate that the fireworks, particularly due to the usual loud bangs and explosions, should take place this evening after events in London today. We apologise to anyone who may be disappointed at missing them but hope they understand and enjoy coming along to future events."

Spectators to the event can still enjoy live music, street entertainment and family fun along the Quay from 7pm.

Poole’s Summer Breeze on the Quay is every Thursday until September with its regular line up of Live Music, Street Entertainers, Barbecues and a spectacular Fireworks Finale at dusk.
