Book Squad to visit Broadstone Library

Poole Libraries' Book Squad will be visiting Broadstone Library on 24th and 25th August on a mission to improve the Library's book stocks.  The Book Squad will be withdrawing old stock containing out-of-date information or in poor condition, and adding hundreds of brand new books.

The Book Squad will also be improving the presentation of the books, and generally giving the Library a new look.  Oakdale and Branksome Libraries have already been visited by the Book Squad, and comments have been overwhelmingly postive.  One delighted reader said "I am very glad that I visited the library after a six months absence. I read in the Echo that you had lots of new books and I have not been disappointed!"

Broadstone Library will be closed for an extra day on Thursday August 25th to allow the work to happen.  The Library staff are looking forward to welcoming you to see the difference and borrow some brand new books when the Library reopens on Friday August 26th at 9.30am.

Councillors join the Book Squad at Oakdale Library.
