YOUR CHANCE TO TAKE PART IN POOLE'S HISTORY

Poole's historic Beating of the Bounds ceremony is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, 30 September.

Led by The Admiral of the Port and Mayor of Poole, Councillor Mrs Joyce Jones, Jury men provided by the Society of Poole Men and guests will tour the perimeter of Poole's sea area to check the marks and bounds of the harbour are still in place.

For your chance to see the historic event, celebrations begin with a Civic parade from the Fish Shambles near the Pottery, at 10.40 a.m. to the Custom House, followed by an opening ceremony at Custom House Steps, Poole Quay at 10.45 a.m.
