17 Apr 00TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DOLPHIN SWIMMING POOL
Due to a heating system failure discovered yesterday afternoon (Sunday), the Dolphin Swimming Pool, Kingland Road, Poole has been closed.
Engineers are currently working to repair the main boiler which provides heating for the indoor swimming pool and the main building. As a result, all sessions including swimming, keep fit, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fitness studio have been cancelled until the repairs have been completed.
Allan Ferris, Head of Leisure Contract Services, Borough of Poole, said: "Work to repair the main boiler is underway and we are hoping that we will be able to re-open this weekend. In the meantime I would like to apologise for the inconvenience to our customers and assure them that we will re-schedule any sessions that have been booked with us".
