DORSET TRAVELWISE ALTERNATIVE FUELS CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION

As part of Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset Councils TRAVELWISE Campaign there will be an Alternative Fuels and Vehicles Conference at Upton Country House, on the 6th June 2000. The aim of the event will be to introduce the business community in Dorset to the advantages, practicalities and technological advances in alternative fuel vehicles.

Delegates will be invited to attend the Conference through links with the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Business Link Dorset. Invitations will also be extended to surrounding Local Authorities and the Emergency Services.

At this stage, the Energy Savings Trust, British Gas (Vehicle Fuels), Vauxhall (Alternative Fuel Vehicles), Ford, Iveco, Hendy Power Products, LPG Autocentre, Citroen UK and Land Rover have all confirmed their intention to exhibit on the day.

It is anticipated that three hundred delegates will attend on the day and to-date the event has attracted significant interest.
