From Monday 5 June a number of services in and around Poole will be introduced in an effort by the Council to minimise disruption caused by the bus company’s move to rationalise and simplify bus services.
Full details of all the affected services are now available on the Council’s website at www.boroughofpoole.com. Further details of timetables and general public transport information can also be obtained from traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or at www.travelinesw.com
.
Councillor Ron Parker, Portfolio holder for the Local Economy including Transportation said: “We have worked hard to fill the gaps in the public transport network that have arisen as a result of the changes to services by Wilts and Dorset
within the limited resources available to us. We feel that we have managed to achieve a replacement timetable which gives people continued access to essential services and facilities”.
The Borough of Poole welcomes feedback on the changes. Please contact Transportation Services during office hours on 01202 262242 for public bus services or 01202 262241 for schools services.
