YOU TOO CAN BE PART OF POOLE'S SUCCESS

Poole adult learners have achieved outstanding results in national examinations this summer.

In GCSE results alone, 82% of Poole Adult Education students have attained grades A* - C as compared to the national average of 54.8%.

One of our French GCSE tutors with 13 adults on her course achieved 6 A*s and 7 As. Outstanding grades were achieved in more unusual subjects such as Archaeology and Classical Civilisations with 30 adults celebrating A* - C passes. The RSA awarded distinctions to many of Poole Adult Education students taking I.T examinations.

From a total of 1,548 examinations taken across diverse subjects and levels, the pass rate was 94%. Results like these are comparable to the best schools and colleges in Dorset.

Head of Adult Education Elaine Findlay said: "We can offer you the opportunity to share in success and increase your employment prospects. We aim to help you to feel good about yourself and your abilities.

"With expert tuition in IT, languages, arts, RYA courses and partnerships with St. John Ambulance, to mention just a few, we’re sure we can offer a course that’s suitable for you. "

From Monday September 7 through to Friday September 11, there is a last chance enrolment available at the Oakdale Centre, Wimborne Road, Poole. For details, please ring (01202) 262300.
