Community learning for Waterloo and Creekmoor

Residents of the Waterloo and Creekmoor areas are to have the opportunity of helping shape the future community learning initiatives in the district.

A consultant has been engaged by the Borough of Poole to gather information on the ways people would like to further develop leisure, sporting and educational activities to widen the current range of voluntary and other groups active in the area.

One example is Hillbourne First and Hillbourne Middle Schools, which are keen to extend the use of their buildings and grounds for the benefit of children and families as well as voluntary organisations.

Residents will be able to meet and talk with the consultant at Hillbourne First School on 30 September at 10am or Hillbourne Middle School on the same day at 7pm.

It is hoped that there will be new opportunities for all age ranges in the area as a result of this work.
