The public are invited to attend any one of the consultation events in order to gain a clearer picture of the Partnership, and comment on the findings of the recently conducted audit
Cllr Chris Bulteel, Chair of the Partnership said: "This is the third audit that has been undertaken in Poole. However, since the last one three years ago, there have been some major changes."
Cllr Bulteel continued: "Two important partnerships have come together to make this happen, the Crime and Disorder Partnership and Drug Action Team. The ongoing work builds upon the previous two crime audits and has allowed for a comprehensive drugs audit to be included which follows key themes contained in the National Drugs Strategy."
The audit looks at crime statistics in Poole over the last three years and also statistics regarding drug and alcohol use. Information highlighted in these consultation events will assist in deciding what the priorities will be for the Partnership over the next three years. There will be a short questionnaire that aims to find out the publics' views and perceptions of Poole with regards to crime and drug use, and how best these issues can be tackled.
