Crescent Dream Machines on Poole Quay, the biggest and best motorcycle evening in Britain has got off to a brilliant start. The lovely weather we have been having made the 18th May the best night in the history of the event, with more motorbikes turning up than on any other night. Crescent Dream Machines will continue every Tuesday night until the end of September, with up to 2,000 gleaming motorcycles gathering on the quayside from 6pm.
On Wednesdays, the action is at Poole Stadium where the table-topping Elite League Poole Pirates provide their own thrilling brand of high-octane entertainment until October.
The centrepiece of the summer programme is the Thursday night event ‘Summer Breeze . . . on the Beach’, featuring live music, beach fun and a great nights entertainment with a fantastic firework finale at dusk. Starting on Thursday 3rd June and running every week to Thursday 26th August.
Friday night sees the return of ‘Quay for my Car’ with the Daily Echo, from 6pm. Each Friday of the month from May to August will be devoted to a different type of car on Poole Quay. This year a new ‘Canadian/American’ night has been added… fans of four-wheeled style will not want to miss out. See the website for full details.
