A Day In The Life Of Poole - An exhibition about the lives of people living an working in Poole

Waterfront Museum - Poole. 19 December - 17 January 1999.

A Day In Life of Poole is an exhibition that provides a unique record of how the people of the town went about their day on 22 June 1998. As part of the Poole 750 celebrations this date was chosen as the day to record the actions of people in their daily lives. The recording would be done by the people themselves and an exhibition produced of the results.

The people of Poole responded to the challenge and caught the mood of the day be documenting their activities at work and at home.

The exhibition brings together many photographs that were taken on the day together with images produced on CD-ROM and in video format.

The Museum including the exhibition is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 3.00pm and on Sundays from Noon to 3.00pm.

Entry is free to residents of the Borough on production of proof of residence, otherwise Adults £1.75 and Children £1.20.

The Museum will be closed from Noon on 24 December until 10.00am on Monday 28 December and closed on 01 January 1999
