"WHEN GRANNY WAS A GIRL" - CAN YOU HELP US PLEASE?

The Museum Service is preparing for an exhibition of youth culture of the 20th century. It is anxious to hear from people in the Poole area of their memories of being a teengager. The changes that have taken place over the last century in the leisure time of the young is what the Museum wishes to hear about. The differnce in lifestyle of being a young person in the 1930s to the 1980s for example.

If people have any memorabilia, which they would be prepared to lend for the exhibition in addition to their memories, these too would be greatly appreciated.

If you can help please contact either Meena Patel or Selina Armour-Chelu (Exhibition Officers) at Waterfront Museum by telephoning 01202 683138
