22 Jul 04Crime Survey - Minority Group Views Sought
The Borough of Poole’s Community Safety Team are conducting surveys to find out about residents’ perceptions of crime.
As part of its Crime and Drugs Audit, the Council is particularly keen to hear from people in hard to reach groups, such as young single mothers, elderly people, victims of domestic violence and members of the gay and lesbian community. Views are also sought from ethnic minority groups and past offenders under the age of 19.
Cllr Bill Wretham Portfolio Holder for Housing and Social Inclusion, Borough of Poole, said: “We are keen to ensure that we have the views of all those in our community who could have been affected by crime. We particularly urge anyone from these groups to contact us, so that our information is as comprehensive as possible.”
If you live in Poole and would like to participate in one or more of these surveys, please call us on 01202 633430 or 633045 or e-mail Vikki Howe. All responses will be strictly confidential and prepaid envelopes will be sent to you for easy return.
