NEW JOB VACANCY WEB PAGE IN POOLE

Job seekers in Poole can now access job adverts on the Borough of Poole’s award winning Website, www.poole.gov.uk.

A new Website page will provide applicants with comprehensive information on all the Council’s job vacancies including: job descriptions, salary, qualifications and contact details for informal discussions.

With separate indexes for schools and Council Service Units, users will be able to use relevant words to search for vacancies of interest. Application forms and full job descriptions will also be available by contacting the Borough of Poole’s new recruitment e-mail address: jobs@poole.gov.uk.

Cllr Ms Chand Ewart, Chairman of the Personnel and Support Services Committee, said: "By providing job vacancy details on the Borough’s Website we can make sure that even more people are aware of the opportunities available and have access to the information they need. More and more people are connecting to the Internet, either through work or at home and, with access now available in all of Poole’s public libraries, this trend is set to continue".
