Rossmore Leisure Centre’s OLGA Trampoline Team celebrated medal success last weekend at the British Trampoline Championships
at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena
.
Of the 23 team members that participated in the qualifying rounds on the Saturday, 16 made it into the top eight to go forward and compete in the finals on the Sunday.
As a result the team came away with 4 British individual titles, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, 3 British Team Champion titles and 1 bronze team medal.
The achievement follows the latest in a long line of successes for the team which has seen members selected for the European Championships and the World Cup. A number of the team are also hopefuls for the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Rossmore Leisure Centre has been home to the OLGA trampolining team for the last 8 years and the training facility is funded through the joint partnership between the Borough of Poole and Sports & Leisure Management (SLM). ![]()
