New faces are taking key roles in Poole, following the first year of the Borough of Poole's new Cabinet structure.
The changes to key decision makers were made at the Annual Council Meeting held in the Council Chamber on May 18.
Cllr Don Collier, the former Chairman of the Environment Overview Group will be stepping up to the Cabinet and taking over the Environment Portfolio from Cllr Jonathan Pethen.
Cllr Roger Gregory will be moving across from Health Scrutiny to take on the Resources Overview Group Chairmanship from Cllr Judy Butt.
Cllr David Newell is moving up to Chairman of the Learning Overview Group to take over from Cllr Tony Woodcock so he can concentrate on his Cabinet Portfolio for Learning.
Cllr Mary Hillman will be Chairman of the Health Scrutiny Committee while Cllr Peter Adams will be taking over the Chairmanship of the Environment Overview Group vacated by Cllr Collier.
Council leader Brian Leverett said: "Taken together, this "fine tuning" will, I am confident, make a good team even better so that together we can go forward, delivering the services the people of Poole require in the most efficient manner."
