29 May 02'Oyster' delights on Poole Quay
Poole's unique programme of summer events will be highlighted this week with Thursday's opening of 'Oyster Quay' - Poole's newest bar & grill. Along with dream machines on Tuesday and SMART cars on Friday, Poole Quay will be alive with musical delights of all sorts on Thursday ensuring there's something for everyone.
As part of Poole's biggest ever summer events programme, T2F with 2CR FM, every Tuesday to Friday from May to September will be filled with stylish evening entertainment:
- TUESDAY'S on Poole Quay - CASTROL DREAM MACHINES
Gleaming motorcycles gather in an impressive turn out of two wheel style. From 6pm May - September. Advance season tickets on sale this week - Bike of the night and weekly charges start on 5 June - season ticket just £5 for 17 weeks.
- WEDNESDAY'S at Poole Stadium - POOLE SPEEDWAY
- Alternate THURSDAY'S with a spectacular fireworks finale at 10pm
!!! THIS WEEK !!! OYSTERS LIVE ON THE QUAY - Poole Quay will come alive with quality music and street entertainment from 7pm. Sample the sounds of Jazz at the Custom House with 'Sol D'oru' or Blues at the Thistle Hotel with 'Bafaana'. 'Mango Santa Maria' will be providing a Latino vibe outside 'Oyster Quay' for its opening night and many more musical and culinary delights will be on offer all along the Quay.
Next week : SANDS ON THE BEACH - Caribbean style Beach barbecues at Shore Road with live music and with beach sports and children's activities at Sandbanks beach from 7pm.

2nd Fridays - Mini magic new & old - all welcome!

!!! THIS WEEK !!! 5th Fridays - Be SMART - Special guest European Champion Powerboat Racing Driver Sarah Donohue will be racing down to the Quay with her SMART car between 6pm - 10pm
