Improved Bus Service for Creekmoor

Wilts & Dorset Bus Company has changed the way their services operate in Creekmoor.

Previously the Service 97 operated on a ‘clock-wise’ one way circuit via Northmead Drive, Longmeadow Lane, Beechbank Avenue and then into Poole. Now one of the three buses each hour operates in the opposite direction between peak times to enable short local journeys in Creekmoor. These journeys are numbered 98.

Ward Councillor John Rampton said: "Residents were only able to use the bus in one direction to access local facilities such as the doctor’s surgery, the library and the shops. By changing the direction of one of the buses, a new hourly service is now available for travel in Creekmoor. I am pleased that Wilts & Dorset has been able to alter the service to benefit local people."

The route of the Service 98 journeys is in the opposite direction in Creekmoor but remains the same between Upton Road and Poole. Full details are available in the new Wilts & Dorset timetable available free of charge from the Bus Station.
