Bruce Grant-Braham, Chairman of Poole Tourism Panel, said: "Last year we exceeded our expectations with our special events programme and because of the continued support and commitment of our business sponsors we have been able to make this year’s bigger and better. We have gained a reputation for being able to party with the best and the T2F special events with 2CRFM in 2002 will certainly prove to be the longest summer ever. I am unaware of any other resort that can boast 18 weeks of Summer fireworks".

He added: "The creation of a dynamic and extensive special events programme has been a priority of the Poole Tourism Panel since its inception just over two years ago. The desire to build upon our successes and make Poole the number 1 location for events in this area has been a major goal and this year’s programme goes a long way to help achieve this".
