Funding Opportunity for Community and Voluntary Groups

Poole Safe Together Partnership are offering community and voluntary groups the chance to bid for funding to help tackle crime and substance misuse in Poole.

The partnership have just launched their new Crime and Drugs Strategy for 2005-2008 which outlines what they aim to achieve over the next three years to address the following issues:

Cllr Ann Stribley, Chair of the Poole Safe Together Partnership, said: "The partnership is very excited about launching this new initiative. We are keen to build stronger relationships with the voluntary and community sector and we see this as an excellent opportunity to engage with members from a variety of organisations."

If you are involved in a community or voluntary group that could help the partnership to address these issues please contact the Partnership and Performance Team for more details and an application form on 633011 or email safetogether@poole.gov.uk

Groups will need to have a bank account and constitution in order to bid for funding. If you would like help in setting these up, please contact the Borough of Poole’s Community Development Co-ordinator on 633045 or email l.maguire@poole.gov.uk.
