Employees from the Borough of Poole will be celebrating their achievements at a special presentation by the Mayor of Poole, Cllr Ron Parker on Tuesday 26 February.

Over forty employees will receive a Record of Achievement in recognition of their work. Qualifications gained in the last year range from NVQ’s in Care to Diplomas and Post-graduate Diplomas in Management Studies and Social Work.

Janice Bowker, Training Officer, Borough of Poole, said: "The Borough of Poole encourages staff to develop their skills through training and qualifications and are committed to supporting them through their study. It is important to recognise the hard work and dedication from staff in achieving their qualifications which are of great benefit to both the individuals and the organisation."

Mayor of Poole, Cllr Ron Parker, said: " It is a great honour to present these awards and I congratulate every employee for the hard work and commitment they have shown in gaining their achievements."
