Following work to repair storm damage at Alderney Middle School, Evering Avenue, Poole, the school will reopen tomorrow morning (Thursday 7 February).

Damage to the school’s roof was repaired following a leak caused by Monday evening’s stormy weather. During the work the school remained closed and electricity was turned off as a safety precaution.

Headteacher David Cook, said: "I would like to thank all the parents, children and staff for their patience and support whilst the school has been closed. Now that the roof has been repaired and power restored, we are looking forward to getting back to business as usual first thing in the morning."
