Alderney Middle School, Evering Road, Poole will be closed to pupils today (Tuesday 5 February) due to minor storm damage.

Following recent stormy weather, water has leaked through the roof into the reception area causing some damage to carpeted areas. As a safety precaution all heating and electrics have been turned off and work to repair the damage is underway.

Headteacher David Cook, said: "In order for the repair work to continue we are advising parents that the school will be closed today.  We apologise for any inconvenience and will let parents know as soon as the work has been completed".
